Michael Riley is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist who completed his degree from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage. Michael has a Bachelors Degree in American History and is currently enrolled in courses for Physical Therapy. He is an expert in Myofascial Release and serves as a teaching assistant for Walt Fritz's Foundations in Myofascial Release seminars.
His interest in manual therapy and massage began after having lower back pain and recurring injuries for several years. This was finally fixed with the application of different manual therapy and massage techniques. His focus is Pain Science and removing pain from every single individual, as well as performance care with athletes of every sport and level.
Mike is also certificatied in Dermal Traction Method, a targeted modality with amazing success that removes pain and restores optimal range of motion by hacking the nerves and central nervous system through manipulation of just the skin. This work can be very effective for those who are in excruciating pain and are also sensitized to deeper work. He is the ONLY practitioner of in the Greater Rochester area.
